Hey,
My name is Victoria Guerrero. I was born and raised in Queens, NY. I currently reside wherever my heart and career takes me.
Depending on who you ask, they’d say my career started when I was 8 years old, begging my boy cousins to let me have a turn on the court. Others might say it was when I was 12 years old, making modern-day TikToks and IG Reels on iMovie, Video Star, and Vine (who else remembers those apps?).
Regardless, it were those moments as a child that led me to my career in sports marketing as a social media manager, strategist, and content creator.
I started my career as a marketing coordinator for the Palm Coast Parks and Recreation Department which meant spending my days at the golf course, tennis center, pickleball court, basketball, court — you name it — capturing content to promote our community programs and tell the stories of our neighborhood athletes.
Along the way, I freelanced for the WPSL and NWSL as a social media coordinator for @WPSL and @GothamFC ideating, capturing, and publishing multiple pieces of content across their social media accounts.
Before I knew it, I was signing an offer letter from the NBA, I spent two years working for the NBA. The first year, I was a TikTok/Snapchat Publisher and the second, I was an On-Site Coverage Producer. I shared stories from our athletes across the league through social content captured at various games, practices, and tentpole events that was published across all @NBA channels.
Today, I am the social media manager and strategist for all @PUMAHoops social media accounts. My day varies from capturing content on set with LaMelo Ball or Breanna Stewart to strategically planning content in the office that both balances and meets all marketing and brand goals.
